So the author of this article doesn’t actually understand how a computer works…

Do you know what a HARD DRIVE is? THAT’s the part which stores the ‘sensitive data’ which you don’t want ‘compromised’… (That’s incorrect English, by the way… You can’t ‘compromise’ data on a hard drive, but you can steal it.)
